Councilman Young, Bartholomew Pallares, last Friday attended the presentation of the University Volunteering Project of Strengthening School called "learn Uni2" in which the city of Totana participates through the Educational Support Project started in this county during school 2012/2013.
Near the city of Totana also involved other Consistories, associations and NGOs in the region to develop similar projects.
The event was presented by the Rector of the University of Murcia, José Antonio Gómez Cobacho, who thanked the cooperation of all entities involved in this project, and the university that are linked to it every year.
This project has had a wide territorial growth and impact in recent years, currently seeing over a thousand benefited students from the region.
With the ceremony the Rector wanted to officially make a recognition of all those who are making it possible and make public the results of this project.
Currently in Educational Support Project Totana forty eight undergraduate volunteers and children in primary education.
