The Local Government Board has approved the renewal of the cooperation agreement between the city of Totana and the Ministry of Health and Social Policy for the development of activities in the area of ​​Social Services Primary Care and maintenance of various programs and services, for the period 2013/14.

The Consistory totanero annually an agreement is signed with the Autonomous Region for the development of the basic benefits of Social Services, such as information and guidance, support social unit and home care, prevention and alternative housing and social inclusion, promoting solidarity , participation and social cooperation.

The main purpose of the agreement is the maintenance of the Municipal Center of Social Services Totana, strengthening professional for Dependency Care and commissioning Accompaniment Program for Social Inclusion (PAIN).

The contributions for the maintenance of the Center for Social Services are of 142 298 euros from the region and 47,432 euros by the City, as well as 24,496 euros for the development of the average professional reinforcement for dependency care by regional budgets and 8,165 euros from city coffers.

In addition, for the development of PAIN, the Autonomous provide 28,579 euros while the Consistory totanero finance for this purpose a total of 9,526 euros.

Under this agreement, keeping finances four social workers and educators to the operation of these social projects.
