Totana unemployed people enjoy a training resource for improving their employability through "Labor Project, a step towards employability" Totana developed by the Collective for Social Promotion "The Candle" in collaboration with the city of Totana and Murciano Institute of Social Action and 80% by the European Social Fund.
The Social Skills Workshop for employment has lasted for 36 hours and he participated unemployed township fourteen students.
In this course, participants could work as the process aspects of verbal and nonverbal communication, active listening, how to improve communication, self-awareness, self-esteem and assertiveness, as well as know how to overcome conflicts in interpersonal relationships skillfully.
Next week will start up workshop to this, Techniques of active job search, 32 hours, where it is expected the participation of 16 people.
In this course students will learn to design a job search agenda may face simulated job interviews, conducted an extensive analysis of the labor market as well as resources for an effective job search.
Since its launch, 385 people have participated in the Project Labor Totana, all unemployed to which, in addition to offering various training courses and internships, have been individually designed itinerary labor integration, complementing the training with an intense process of career counseling as well as support in the social field.
Through this project is to inform, educate and guide unemployed people on issues related to the workplace.
It is an initiative of such socio-labor by which it seeks to facilitate the employment of people who are interested in actively participating in the change of their unemployment.
