Red Cross and the city spread over 140 toys to children whose families experience Totana a situation of need (05/01/2013)

Spanish Red Cross and the City of Totana spread over 140 toys to local children whose families are going through a situation of need.

This deal has been made possible through proceeds from the campaign Totana "Kings Crossing" organized by the Red Cross that has involved a joint journey of three days duration for asphalt and mountain stages with a total of 240 km, went through 25 municipalities of the Region of Murcia to help children and families in economic hardship and social exclusion, and one of them Totana.

In the process they have worked together in the Sports Department collecting toys and the Department of Social Care in the distribution and delivery.

Through this campaign have donated 141 toys to a total of 57 families of Totana users of the municipal social services with children aged from zero to nine years.

Both the City Council and Red Cross Totana thank Totana neighbors shown solidarity with those in need, especially at this time as significant, and with the Magi for their support so that no child is left without a toy.
