Specialty Care Center for Women Victims of Domestic Violence has been recorded so far this year a total of 33 new cases in the municipality, together with the attention that has been made in individual cases from the implementation of CAVI in 2008 for a total of 284 women who have suffered some form of violence such as data center.

Specifically, sources of CAVI, has treated an average of forty women a month, with an average of 125 interventions per month, and have posted a total of 730 appointments and interventions since January 2012.

With regard to the number of cases which have been addressed, Spanish women have been twelve, six Ecuadorian, seven Bolivian, a Colombian, four Moroccans, and a Russian.

The Totana CAVI is an integrated center in the Network of Specialized Care for Women Victims of Domestic Violence, attended by a multidisciplinary team (Social Worker, Psychologist and General Counsel), which aims to comprehensively address and continued to women victims of gender violence in the municipality and from other localities who request it through individual and group intervention.

The recipients of the CAVIS are those women over 18 who have suffered or are suffering, a situation of domestic violence and anyone who wants information to help a woman who can in this situation.

In addition, specific actions are planned to raise awareness of co-education, equality and prevention in schools to prevent early-age behaviors that could lead to such violence.

Also, among other things, there have been several specific workshops on the prevention of toxic relationships between youth and the approach of the administration of justice.
