Anike Volunteer reports on the successful development of the construction of a school in Burkina Faso (03/08/2012)

Anike Volunteers, reports that construction of the school in the village of Sykanadjio, southwest of Burkina Faso, are developing as planned the initial project.

After finding mission conducted by members of this NGO in 2011 to this remote village in the region of Banfora in Burkina Faso, to prove whether its viability as both sustainability and commitment to purchase the population to carry out the project; construction began in February of this year, having ended commitment for December.

The total cost of the work amounts to 30,200 euros, having this date made or the amount of 22,000 euros.

The construction works are being developed at the pace expected and desired, being coordinated and supervised by the local NGO Burkina JED.

During the summer, volunteers Anike activities are focusing on the distribution of piggy banks for various shops in the towns where volunteer Anike is present.

At the beginning of the school, is reiciarán other activities, among which a charity concert by the group DISCORD, in a famous concert hall of Murcia city.

From Anike volunteers want to thank all those who are collaborating with this project in these difficult times for Spanish society, to get in a little corner of Africa, children's village with a school Sykanadjio take their first 6 years educational instruction.
