Users of the Day Centre for People with Disabilities Intelectural "José Moya Trilla" Totana have made an exit to a trade Totana within the program of training activities carried out together with their monitors, to enhance their personal skills and social in their daily lives everyday.
For more than a month, has worked in the Day Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities various activities to introduce more dependent users and consolidate the knowledge of users more autonomous in the use of coins and banknotes and skills necessary to perform a purchase in their daily lives.
Thus, the 29 users have made a cash register in the carpentry shop, and have organized a small supermarket within the center which was used to perform various simulations cart.
Inquire about a product, ask and give information on prices, compare and give an opinion on the products have been some of the objectives of this activity, framed within the program of Skills for Living that develops within the educational project of the Center Day of Totana.
From the center's professional team "José Moya Trilla" is assessed as very positive for this activity skills that allow power so early, its development in the family community.
Publicly thank the enthusiastic collaboration of managers and Consum supermarket dependent Totana to facilitate and enable this activity.
According to sources in the Department of Social Care, Jose Moya Center is funded entirely by the System of Care for Independence and Dependence, through an agreement between the Autonomous Community of Murcia, through the IMAS, and Totana City Council.
