The socialist group Totana yesterday renewed local leadership and elected a new Secretary General.
In the afternoon yesterday, the Socialists held a Totana Assembly which were renewed organic charges over the next years, where Andrés García Cánovas was elected Secretary General of the PSOE-Totana, after presenting a single candidate.
Following his election, García Cánovas acknowledged the support received from the militants with a team that will rise to the challenges that await us in the coming years and that "with hard work, effort and enthusiasm, offering real proposals and solutions for totaneros and totaneras before the disastrous management of the Popular Party. "
Canovas Garcia also said that "the new party leadership has the right people, people with experience and honesty necessary for accurate star Totana the turn and win the next elections."
Andres Garcia Canovas, 51, a farmer, has so far been responsible for urban policy in the PSOE-Totana, has also been a councilor in the consistory totanero in the last two legislatures.
