Full week of racing for athletes of CAT (09/05/2012)

A SHARED CHALLENGE 2012

On the morning of Saturday 5th saw the conclusion of the mountain trail "A shared challenge" to benefit the Center for Early Intervention Lorca.

The test consisted of two modes, walking, with a distance of 16 kilometers and running, with a travel distance of 35 kilometers.

200 people have registered from all over the region of Murcia, as well as the provinces of Alicante, Albacete, Almeria, Granada and Huelva.

The CAT could not miss this event beneficial, and involved athletes, Jesus Fernadez-Rufete Jose Agustin Carrasco, Juanfra Martinez, Juan Francisco Garcia and Jose Manuel Vazquez who completed the race superbly.

HALF MARATHON XL ELCHE

On the morning of Sunday May 6, Athletes belonging to the CAT, Jose Juan Francisco Martínez Sáez and participated in the 40th edition of the Elche Half Marathon, the race of the world's oldest form.

Last Sunday was held on day 6 Half Marathon considered the world's oldest, Half of Elche, and now in its 40th edition.

10 km SEWER 2012

On Saturday May 5 held the 1st edition of the 10km Villa Sewer, departing at 18.00 from the main street of this town and city tour circuit.

The large audience constantly encourage a total of 278 runners finished the race.

The CAT was very good represented, with a total of 6 riders who participated and completed the 10,000 meters.

Prior to the 10,000 different tests were conducted for younger riders, which involved a young and future promise of the CAT, Antonio Lucas Junior who finished second in its category.

As they say like father like son.

Noting that in this test was the only female club SUSI, who did an excellent job, finishing it in 55 minutes, 5 th position in its category, accompanied of course by her husband and great runner Jesus Martinez.

On the male side, the great race by Bartolomé Sánchez Muñoz with a time of 38:33 at an average below 4 min the miles, ranking 20 overall and 12 of its category.

And as always, magnificent role of Vera Lucas brothers (in this case, Francisco Javier and Anthony Lucas), who performed a time of 41 minutes and 44 minutes respectively, ending at position 20 and 18 of its category.

Hence the enormous role played by athletes of CAT, as they carry the good name of your club and Totana to all corners of the region.
