A total of 9 schools and 16 clubs will participate in this year's carnival parades Totana to be held this weekend in Totana.

The children's parade to be held on Sunday 19 February, with the participation of schools, "La Milagrosa", "Tierno Galvan", "San Jose", "Reina Sofia", "Santa Eulalia", "Deitania" "Santiago", "The Cross" and "Luis Perez Rueda".
Two separate processions, which begin at 16:30 pm, depart from the Old Institute, through the Avenida de Lorca, Sun Street, Constitution Square and Bridge Streets, San Antonio and San Francisco de Asis up to the Campus grounds.
Carnival Prizes will be presented on Saturday 18 from 01:00 hours in the marquee on the fairgrounds.
This year the awards have six categories.
Specifically, four categories "most elegant costume," "Most Original Costume" "Costume more Comedian", and "Best Choreography" awards which have 200, 150 and 100 respectively.
In addition, the category of "Best Makeup" has a prize of 100 euros and the "Orange Prize" 500.
