Our Bishop calls us to the Diocesan Day Easter brotherhoods, to be held in LORCA, next Sunday October 23 in which will bring together members of different fraternities and sororities of the Diocese of Cartagena.
This conference, under the motto "Bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ" are organized by the Diocesan Delegation of Fraternities and Brotherhoods of the Diocese of Cartagena.
In the words of our Bishop in a letter to the Brotherhoods, tells us, among other things, that: "... Lorca's brothers need you, need the warmth of brotherhood and closeness of those who share the same faith and same feelings brothers, need to know they are not alone, that after the earth trembled under their feet and have the experience, at the risk of their lives, having to "save" their sacred images of the rubble, while crumbling temples, life goes on and the sun shines stronger.
Lorca and people are making great efforts to normalize and restore their lives, but they need our support and closeness.
We can not fail, because they flow through our veins the same drum beats through the agony of Jesus dying on the Cross. "
Totana, city rooted in the Nazarene, will be present in these Days, seeing themselves represented by the Illustrious Cabildo Processions Superior, local institution that is organizing this massive event in Lorca
The conference will begin with a welcoming ceremony to be held in the columns of the Alamedade 9 to 9:30 am.
After the speeches of greeting and welcome, the Vicar of the pastoral zone of Lorca, a community prayer raised for Charity, as the result of this meeting is that the brothers feel we exercise our solidarity and commitment to others.
Then, at about 10 am, will develop a formal ceremony in which the Presidents of the Councils of the different populations present in the conference signed the book of the Diocesan Day.
Around 10:30 am, and starting from the columns of La Alameda, will start the Diocesan Day procession, which will follow a set order and to organize the large number of pilgrims brothers is expected to attend .
