The presidential advisor, Manuel Campos, and the Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez, met yesterday to resume the work on the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) of the General Plan to give a political impetus to this chapter of document and advance their environmental technical changes.
The meeting was also attended by the regional secretary of the Ministry, Vanesa Ana Torrent, and technicians of the Autonomous Community and the consistory, who agreed to set a joint meeting technical and political in the month of October to assess the work of both government to date in this section.
Municipal technicians make a diagnosis of the situation and prepare a paper on aspects that can restudy of the EIS for submission, again, to the Autonomous Community, and work on modifying specific areas of the municipality.
During the meeting spaces that are not addressed in the 2000 Habitat Network and other areas relating to orchards, the regional park of Sierra Espuña totanero field and areas between the river Guadalentín and the Mediterranean.
