Four totaneros participated for the third consecutive year in this fun but tough tournament to be held on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 September and involving players from all over the country and some foreigners Spanish teams.
They play two phases for each category, the first phase of the Swiss system consists of a number of rounds, and the top ranked of these previous rounds go to final table of 16 players.
The number of previous rounds is: children and senior categories seven games, and youth categories, absolute and female 9 games.
Andrew David Ros, who passed the junior category, managed to qualify for the final table, but failed to overcome the second round losing to David Perez, who finished 2 nd.
Participating at junior Julian Mendez, who also was eliminated in eighth after making very good games.

Higinio got through to the final table but was eliminated in the knockout phase consists of the women's champion, Anna Helbig, while Julian was unable to reach the second phase.
NEXT WEEKEND.
The next weekend is the traditional place of tournament games in Lorca Guadalentín where players will attend Club de Totana expected participation of players from clubs in Murcia, Alicante, Almeria and Granada.
