Councilwoman Services and Comprehensive Maintenance of the City, Maria José Bedia, reported that his department will not place flowers in parks and ornamental gardens to the nearby town of Santa Eulalia festivities in December, within the Plan Austerity which will save all those unnecessary expenses of municipal action.
Bedia explained that it was impossible to buy seasonal plants for the entire area devoted to flower season, has raised the possibility of reducing it with ground cover vegetation, prairie or with cover material, as appropriate to each area.
The mayor said it appears evident that this measure will allow us to economically reduce significantly not only in the purchase of seasonal plants, but in the maintenance of parks and gardens.
