Over fifty people participated in a hiking route through the traditional orchards of the Ricote Valley, organized by the Sports Department.
The route, directed by Antonio Martínez Cano, started at quarter past nine from the town of Ricote.
From there, hikers deep into the garden through the traditional steps of irrigation.
The monitor made several explanations of existing vegetation: lemon trees, olive trees and plenty of curious plants.
There were two short breaks in a traditional house laundry and a forest.
Then they entered a part of the route that runs Moorish mountain scenery overlooking the River Segura and several dams.
Finally, they came back to the town of Ricote and then re-enter the garden to finish in the population of eyes.
The following route organized by the Sports Council on Monday, May 2 drawing that is festive and will pass through the newly opened path ecotourism called "the wonders of Cehegín."
