The councilman of Social Welfare and Citizenship, Juan Carrion, and several area technicians have participated in activities commemorating the twentieth anniversary of the creation of the School of Social Work and the World Social Work Day to be held during the month of March and began with a panel chaired by the Rector of the University of Murcia, José Antonio Cobacho.
The panel chaired by the Rector reviewed the twenty-year history since the creation of the School of Social Work to its current power conversion, and it has intervened several directors with whom he has had this university and the current dean, Pastor Enrique Soler
In this table, followed by another on the vision of the school by several students and a lecture by Ana Isabel Lima, president of the General Council of Graduates in Social Work and Social Workers in Spain, which had focused on the present and future Social Work in Spain and Europe.
Among the organized activities, the Association of Graduates in Social Work and Social Workers in the Region of Murcia has granted awards to social workers who met twenty five years of licensing among which technical professionals in this City.
Also there was a dramatic reading of stories to mark the International Day of Women's Rights, the inauguration of the celebrations of Social Work with performances by musical groups from the Faculty pneumothorax, Rap & Nyka Non Grata and Nadal Stadium, a twentieth anniversary commemorative exhibition of the Centre and a solidarity.
