The spokesperson for the Popular Municipal de Totana, Josefa María Sánchez, reported that his group will file a motion at the next regular full January to urge the National Government to develop a third Plan E for the payment of debt Local Government suppliers.

He recalled that the Plan E, in two phases, consisted of four main lines of action, as were measures to support businesses and families to promote employment, financial and budgetary measures, and, finally, measures to modernize the economy .

He said the aim of this initiative, which has also been accompanied during the development of a large staging propaganda was to stimulate economic recovery, and therefore job creation, with a profound renewal of the production pattern, but as has been shown not been achieved.

He said municipalities in this term we have been abandoned for lack of direction, proposals and solutions Zapatero, seeing vilified by a Government to blame for Spanish debt crisis and the municipalities.

Sanchez said that municipal budgets are suffering the direct consequences of economic decisions taken by the Government, who have trampled the management capacity of municipalities despite repeated claims to promote a Local Finance Law.

He added that the financial and economic suffocation of the municipalities is causing major problems for municipalities to meet the payment to their suppliers.

Since the PP have insisted in recent months on the need for funding for Plan E is devoted to generate more spending for municipalities but also to improve municipal payments.

He also said that the Municipal Investment Fund set up to supply the E Plan is not solving the most important of the municipalities, which is fiscal stability but on the contrary, is hindering this stability by generating investments that increase current spending.

For this reason, as he insisted, must generate formulas that pass through the creation of a dedicated no more spending but higher pay for municipalities to meet its commitments to its suppliers.
