More than 12,000 people have accompanied this morning at the town's patron saint Santa Eulalia de Merida in its traditional descent from the Sanctuary to the hermitage of San Roque de Totana, where they remain until Wednesday morning to be transferred to the Church of Santiago, where stay until 7 January.
