A total of 75 schools participated in the Badminton Tournament organized by the Sports Council on Saturday 20 November at the Hall School Badminton Tournament, in collaboration with the Badminton Club of Totana.

This event comes under the School Sports Programme, was a qualifier for the Final Regional School organized by the Directorate General of Sports in the Region of Murcia.

School attended different schools in the locality for the categories juvenile, infant, cadet and youth, and she also took some students from neighboring towns and Alhama and Aledo.

The tournament concluded with the awards ceremony by the Councillor for Youth, Juan Antonio Ambit, the school winners were: Alicia Mendez (Colegio de Alhama Ricardo Codorniú) in mixed youngest category, Jose Antonio Rios (Colegio San Cristobal Aledo) in male juvenile, Carmen Gómez (Colegio Santa Eulalia), in juvenile female, Jesus Canovas (Juan de la Cierva) in male children, Noelia Egea (Juan de la Cierva), in female child, Jose Maria Paco ( Mayor Prado), in male cadet, Eva Maria Hernandez (Prado Mayor), in female cadet, Francisco Javier Romero (Prado Mayor), in juvenile male, and Silvia Bastida (Juan de la Cierva) in junior women category.
