The Full Council of Totana approved unanimously to grant the Golden Shield and Noble Leal Ciudad de Totana to College "Reina Sofia" and the musical group of Totana in these organizations by attending all the qualities and merits that they are creditors to the honor and distinction.
On the one hand, the start of the school record "Reina Sofía" started following the agreement of the Consistory plenary on 21 May 2009, taking this case a total of 35 accessions of various groups in the locality.
This school, which celebrated the 25 anniversary of the center last year, will see their work as recognized business in the cooperative field and his educational career as committed to the educational community, the Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo.
On the other hand, the start of record Totana Music Group started after the Plenum of the past February 27, 2007, taking the document a total of 46 accessions of various groups in the locality.
In this regard, the City will present the Golden Shield Association in a ceremony that will take place on November 20 coinciding with the 25th anniversary of it.
