The PP spokesman in Totana, María Isabel Sánchez, denounced in a statement that "the State Budget of 2011 list the major cuts in social democracy and that this decrease amounts to 128 million euros compared to those provided in 2010 ".
According to Sanchez, "This figure, combined with declines in the last legislature for a total of 366 million euros less on social issues that affect social action plans for people with disabilities, programs to assist families and care minors, immigrants, women and youth. "
The popular mayor explained that "in previous years, the National Government defended the cuts with the rise in dependency, but this year, however, also has affected 80 million euros."
Sánchez Ruiz has stated that "Social policy advisers from different regions have asked precisely the conclusion of the Territorial Council on Social Policy that encompasses the autonomous communities and ministering to address the cuts in this matter."
