Municipal authorities have recently met with the Director General of Local Administration of the Ministry of Finance and Public Administration, Manuel Durán, in order to review some of the projects of general interest related to this department affecting this municipality and transfer a plan concrete needs.

The meeting, framed within the round that the local Government is taking with representatives of the regional Executive, were attended by the mayor, Andrés García, the first deputy mayor, Juan José Cánovas, and the Councilor for Municipal Works and Infrastructure, Víctor Balsas.

During the meeting municipal officials were interested in the status of the Regional Action Plan for the Dynamization of Works and Municipal Services (PARDOS) for the 2018 former POS-, and requested an increase in this budget line.

In this regard, they also requested information on deadlines and deadlines for submitting projects under this program, which will presumably be in the first quarter of next year.

In addition, municipal officials told the director general of the need to coordinate actions to give a viable solution to the cemetery, due to the scarcity of space available to the cemetery.

Likewise, the mayor transferred the need for the regional government to help and collaborate with Totana because of the critical economic situation in which it is, for that, and among other things it was asked to finance 50% of the cost of the service of extinguishing of fires, to obtain an annual saving of 182.50 euros, an initiative that is going to be requested also through the plenary.

The councilor also told the Director General of Local Government the need to make the transfer to Totana of 400,000 euros to start acting on the supply and sanitation network.

Finally, we ask for help to condition the N-340 to the municipal area of ​​Alhama de Murcia, whose cost is valued by municipal technicians at 393,000 euros.
