The Councilor for Finance of the PSOE continues working with the budgets of 2015 developed by the Popular Party, more than two years after swearing their job, despite having hired a company for economic advice.

The Popular Party of Totana wants to denounce the neglect and inability of the Pact of the Left to elaborate and approve a budget after 27 months in the government without assuming any political responsibility.

The Socialist Party Treasurer continues to work today with the budget of 2015 made by the PP, more than two years after taking office, despite having hired a company for economic advice and be remunerated for it every month..

At the beginning of the year we complained that with the "wonderful" management of the ex-mayor together with the painful management of the head of economy of the City Council, made it possible that the 2016 Budget did not exist in the City of Totana for the first time in the most recent history.

Councilwoman Hacienda Ana Cánovas should have resigned after being unable to approve the 2016 budget and for demonstrating that she is not able to continue in charge of her position or the Department of Finance after repeated failures throughout these more than two years, facts that have not changed since there is still no budget for 2017.

The PP remembers that Cánovas was incapable as councilman to elaborate, to put to vote and to approve the plan of adjustment having of term 7 months for that, which led to the total withholding of the tributes of the State, in addition also was incapable to elaborate the audit fulfilling a plenary agreement and lied to the totaneros wanting to deceive them with a document to measure, done by a company hired by hand, that has cost 20,000 € and that has finished in the bottom of its drawer since it has been approved again by unanimity in full at the request of the PP to make a real audit and not that "political scam" and which was never known, perhaps because it was not interested ......

For political coherence, the Socialist Party should ask political responsibilities to Mayor Andres Garcia demanding the resignation of socialist councilor Ana Cánovas for not being able to approve a municipal budget after more than two years, since in Pliego the PSOE filed a motion censorship and "stealing" the mayoralty to the PP with the argument that the budgets of 2016 had been approved a couple of months after the agreement, in Totana that do not exist, should at least have occurred this resignation long ago.

The Popular Party demands that the new Mayor should start working on this issue once and start to be on top of the day-to-day management of a town hall, leaving the "secret" meetings behind their backs, restoring lost communication between councilors and their areas in order for important issues such as a budget to go forward.

From the Popular Party of Totana we also ask the new Mayor for seriousness, rigor and commitment to approve the budget for 2017 as we are three months to change year.
