The Totana PP regrets that thanks to the votes of PSOE + Citizens + Podemos Totana will not have ITV (05/09/2017)

The Popular Party qualifies as not very serious the attitude of the deputies of the parliamentary group Citizens who against the agreement have opposed the approval of the decree-law that established a new model of regulation for the Vehicle Inspection Service of the Region of Murcia.

With their attitude Citizen deputies cause a serious damage to users who will continue to pay more expensive rates, will have to endure queues and ITV's will not be more accessible, as is the case of ITV planned for our Municipality that after this rejection in the Assembly will not be located in Totana, we do not understand the position of a party that has been discussed and worked for many months that changes its mind overnight.

It is to underline the damage that the decision of the orange formation causes to the employees of the ITV's, thanks to Citizens 200 workers of the concessionary companies are going to the unemployment.

The agreement of the Regional Government with the unions remains in wet paper and a pact that tried to give stability to its uses has not been respected.

We understand that the Regional Assembly deserves a respect and if an agreement is reached, the Citizens' deputies believe that this is a fair and that every day they can change their attraction, it takes more seriousness.

We consider that above the interests of the parties are those of the Region of Murcia and the model of the regional government are ITV's nearest, cheaper, more respectful with the environment and also has social support.

In this sense, we must remember the explicit support expressed by agrarian organizations such as FECOAM, consumer OCU and Thader and taxi drivers.

It is inconceivable that when it comes to safeguarding the interests of the inhabitants of the Region parties arrive as Citizens who use the Regional Assembly for their own purposes.

The decree-law that rejected the plenary assembly with the votes of PSOE, Podemos and Citizens was aimed at expanding the network of vehicle inspection stations in the Region to lower prices, bring them closer to citizens, eliminate queues and keep all jobs.

It was a transitional rule in order to achieve within a maximum of 10 years the total liberalization of the sector, as negotiated with the Citizens party.

This position on the part of Citizens, PSOE and We have, among others, that Totana will not have the ITV that was foreseen, in addition to other municipalities like Santomera, Yecla, Mula, Aguilas, Cieza, Carteajena and Murcia, with the consequent damage to motorcycles, tractors and other vehicles that must continue to move to the nearest inspection stations.

The table below shows the current rates and those proposed by Citizens with their model (same as the CCAA of Madrid) and the proposals by the Regional Government in the Decree Law that was rejected yesterday in Assembly with the votes of Citizens + PSOE + We can.

For the Popular Party it is regrettable that the Region of Murcia loses the opportunity to have the lowest tariffs of Spain in ITV's, and recalled that in the case of vehicles the reduction proposed by the PP was 56%, almost 80% for tractors and 69% for motorcycles.
