The two local festivities in the municipality of Totana for the year 2018 will be on January 13 (Saturday), the day of the pilgrimage of Santa Eulalia, and on December 10 (Monday) festivity of Santa Eulalia, Patron of Totana.
The Plenary of the City of Totana already approved last April the proposal of the Councilor of Festivals on approval of the local holiday calendar for next year.
At the request of the General Direction of Labor Relations and Social Economy, on the establishment of two local festivities, of a remunerated and non-recoverable character, the Municipal Corporation had traditionally designated January 7, the day of the Santa Eulalia Pilgrimage, and on 10 December, feast of Santa Eulalia.
But since in 2018, January 7 will be Sunday, and therefore not working, the City Council has proposed the transfer of this local holiday this year to January 13, Saturday.
