The Autonomous Community grants aid aimed at the promotion of the Social Economy worth more than six million euros (04/08/2017)

The Department of Local Economic Development and Employment of the City of Totana reports that the Ministry of Employment, Universities and Enterprise has published the aid aimed at promoting the social economy, which allocates a total of 6,175,131 euros.

According to the order of bases published in the BORM dated July 28, 2017, this year a new line of subsidies for job creation is created, especially among young people under 29 years old, people over 45 years old, women, Disabled, victims of terrorist acts, groups in situations of social exclusion and women victims of physical or psychological violence.

This aid is aimed at promoting employment, additional support for employment, support for cooperatives and partnerships to create jobs and finance for social economy enterprises for entrepreneurship and collective self-employment.

Currently, it is estimated that this sector employs more than 25,000 Murcia, with 80% of this employment stable.

It will also help consolidate the companies in the sector and start some 170 new ones, which will create around 400 jobs.

The subsidies granted under this program will be intended to subsidize the Social Economy Enterprises that incorporate working partners for an indefinite period and full time.

In addition, 7,000 euros of aid is allocated to the company for each worker partner incorporated in the company, 8,500 euros if the person incorporated is a woman, 9,500 euros in the event that the person is at risk of exclusion in the labor market, 10,000 euros For each incorporated youth who is enrolled, in turn, in the Youth Guarantee Register and 11,500 euros in the case of persons with disabilities.

The European Social Fund (ESF) co-finances part of the budget projects approved in the call, through the Youth Employment Operational Program 2014-2020 or through the ESF Operational Program of the Region of Murcia 2014-2020. The call for this Year, incorporates the processing and telematic presentation of applications in the electronic headquarters of the Community until September 30, 2017.
