The recent change of shift in the Mayor's Office of Totana, in which Juan José Cánovas has given the witness to Andrés García by virtue of the agreement established at the beginning of this legislature, for which they would be two years each in this position, has Entailed the modification of some delegations and areas in the management of the municipal government for the next two years.

In this way, the mayor maintains the delegations of Water, Agriculture and Relations with Companies and Agricultural Associations and Relations with the Irrigation Community;

While she has delegated those of Conservation of Rural Roads (Víctor Balsas), Relations with Service Companies (Ana María Cánovas) and Security in Public Buildings (Gertrudis María Ruiz).

The composition of the Local Government Board is modified to include the mayor and the following mayors: Juan José Cánovas (first deputy mayor), Gertrudis María Ruiz (second), Antonia Camacho (third), Carlos Ballester (fourth) , Eulalia Moreno (fifth), Isabel María Molino (sixth) and Javier Baños (seventh)

In addition, as a novelty, the new first deputy mayor, Juan José Cánovas, assumes the councils of Economic Development, Development and Employment, Industry, Archaeological Sites and Pedanias, who formerly led ediles of the Ganar Totana-IU Municipal Group.

In this way, Cánovas will manage the municipal competencies related to pedantic mayors, neighborhood council, board of pedancies, archaeological sites, industrial estate and Proinvitosa, local development and employment, and entrepreneurship and business incubator.

Thus, after this alternation, the main novelties are that Antonia Camacho assumes the area of ​​Environment and Inmaculada Blázquez manages the Tourism, which formerly carried, in both cases, Agustín Gonzalo Martínez.

For its part, the councilors of the Municipal Socialist Group continue to have the delegations of the mayor who were already held at the beginning of this term.

After the change, the new delegations, regarding the areas and municipal services, remain for Eulalia Moreno (Education, Culture, Equality, Family and Defense of the rights of the LGTB collective);

Antonia Camacho (Water and Sewerage, Environment, RSU, Seniors, Fairs and Markets, Commerce and Handicrafts and Consumption);

And Agustín Gonzalo (Police, Citizen Security, Citizen Participation, CEDETO, Celebrations and Livestock).
