The program "Verano Polideportivo '2017", which includes the Summer Campus for children and varied activities for adults, will take place in the Municipal Sports Center "6 de Diciembre" and the "Guadalentín" Sports Complex "El Paretón" during the last week of June, and the months of July and August.
The Councilor for Sports, Isabel María Molino, and the representative of the monitors of the company "Proidman" that re-manage this concession, Juan Carlos Serrano, have presented the list of activities that brings together this extensive summer sports program.
The program starts on June 9 (opening free swimming pools) on the occasion of the holiday of the Day of the Region of Murcia and will continue until 31 August in different shifts organized.
These will take place from 26 to 30 June (22 eur);
From 3 to 14 July;
From 15 to 31 July, from 1 to 15 August and from 16 to 31 August, all of them at the price of 40 euros.
In addition, there is a special welcome promotion for users who want to participate in the last week of June and first half of July for 50 euros, as in previous years.
The inscriptions can be made already from today 1 of June and until 15 of August for the different shifts;
From Tuesday to Friday, from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the municipal sports center "6 de Diciembre" for the month of June;
And from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for those interested in the fortnights of the months of July and August.
The swimming pools of the Municipal Sports Center will be officially opened on June 9 and the Sports Complex "Guadalentín" in El Paretón on June 17, which will be the official opening of the bath season in these infrastructures.
The schedule of the swimming pools of the Sports Center will be from Tuesday to Friday, from 15:30 to 20:30, and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, from 13:00 to 20:00 hours during the month of June.
In July and August, the hours are from Monday to Friday, from 13:00 to 20:30 hours and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 11:00 to 21:00 hours.
The novelty of this year is the opening during August in the mornings, so that the schedule will be from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
For its part, the swimming pool of the Sports Complex "Guadalentín" will open on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, from 13:00 to 20:00 hours in June;
And during the months of July and August, from Monday to Friday, from 16:00 to 20:30 hours, and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, from 12:00 to 20:00 hours.
The pools have the price of 3.50 euros for users of 13 or more years (10 baths for 30 euros);
2.50 euros for children from 3 to 12 years old (10 bath bonus for 20 euros) and babies from 0 to 2 years old will be free.
Summer Campus and Playful Swimming
The "Summer Campus" will be held at the Municipal Sports Center "6 de Diciembre" and at the Sports Complex "Guadalentín", in El Paretón, as in previous years, and among the activities that will be carried out, there are those of recreational swimming, Individual and team sports, activities in nature, popular games, workshops and crafts and aquatic party for each end of fortnight, among others.
In addition, the activity of "Swimming ludic" at the price of 24.15 euros per fortnight, from Monday to Friday, is offered for children of 4 and 5 years (from 12 to 13 hours), prebenjamín of 6 and 7 years (12 To 13 hours), youngster of 8 and 9 years (from 11 to 12 hours), and youth and young people from 10 to 14 years (from 10 to 11 hours).
This includes discounts of 25% for large families.
The program contemplates the family conciliation service that is aimed at parents who want to extend the Summer School schedule to reconcile work and family life (only at the Municipal Sports Center), from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. 00 hours and from 13:00 to 14:00 hours, for an added price of 8 euros for an hour a week and 14 euros for two euros each week.
Likewise, as in previous years, a bus service is offered to the Municipal Sports Center "6 de Diciembre", which from July is 18 euros / fortnight and is charged by the company on the bus, departing (9:30 am ) And return (13:15 hours) in the Plaza de la Constitución, always accompanied by a monitor during the trips.
Activities for adults
The program "Verano Polideportivo '2017" includes a wide program of activities for young people and adults (from 16 years and over) during the months of July and August, such as Swimming Courses, Aquagym, Maintenance Gymnastics and Tennis School, All of them at the price of 18 euros per month.
The Swimming Courses are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, at 8:30 p.m., at the Municipal Sports Center, and on the same days, at 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., in the "Guadalentín" Sports Complex of El Paretón.
The gymnastics of maintenance is on Tuesdays and Thursdays, at 19:30 hours at the Municipal Sports Center, and on Mondays and Wednesdays, at 19:30 and 20:30 hours, at the "Guadalentín" Sports Complex of El Paretón.
For its part, the Tennis School is held on Mondays and Wednesdays, at 19:30 hours.
These adult activities also have discounts for large families (25%), sports volunteers (50%) and disabled people and over 61 (50%).
In this section, we offer the sports day care service that is free for parents who are practicing at that time any of the activities offered for adults;
