It will also propose a proposal to rehabilitate the area of tiles under the stairs of the gazebo of the convent
During the celebration of Thursday's plenary session in the City of Totana, the Municipal People's Party will request that a commission of inquiry be created to clarify the authorship of the alleged false allegations to the General Municipal Plan of Ordinance denounced by press and social networks by Mr. Mayor and his political group.
The totaneros have heard the statements and demonstrations carried out in the social networks and media by Mr. Alcalde and IU -Ganar Totana on the allegations presented to the PGMO, both affirming that CEBAG and specifically its president registered allegations to the plan using the identity Of deceased persons, some since 2008.
They have also stated that dozens of neighbors have reported that their names and that of their families, including minors, have been used to present allegations at the check-in with the unawareness of them.
The Municipal People's Group considers these facts very serious, if true, as they would violate several laws, with a clear and unethical intentionality.
The Popular Group considers it necessary to take measures from the Municipal Corporation to investigate the facts and clarify the authorship of the same in their case, and if there is a possible manipulation, the plenary must transfer to the corresponding judicial body to debug any Responsibility.
So we will ask the plenary to create a commission of inquiry to clarify these assumptions denounced by the mayor and IU-Ganar Totana to the media and social networks and after the work done by the commission of inquiry and according to their results give Account to the Prosecutor's Office in case the facts could be constitutive of crimes.
In addition to the above motion, we will also propose to the plenary that the restoration of the existing area under the stairs to the Glorieta del Convento will be carried out, proposing that this place be made with tiles designed by the craftsmen of the municipality and in Which are typical motifs totaneros.
We must take into account that the Glorieta del Convento is located in an area of great pedestrian traffic and vehicles, this area having great visibility from the adjacent streets, so it is important that they are kept in good condition because In turn they can be showcases of the customs of the municipality etc.
Being Totana, a city of pottery tradition, besides having magnificent craftsmen who work the ornamental tiles in this case, it could be carried out the replacement of the existing wall of tiles by a mural made by totaneros artisans in which the details were explained that Considered appropriate.
We consider therefore that from the City of Totana and giving participation to the artisans of the Municipality it would be interesting to carry out this restoration, to endow it with a tourist attraction and that is a window of the traditions and trades of the municipality.
