The mayor of Totana, Juan José Cánovas, and the president of the Neighborhood Association of San Francisco, Domingo Sánchez Cerdá, recently signed the collaboration agreement for the transfer of the social area of ​​the neighborhood to this neighborhood association.
The meeting was also attended by Councilors Inmaculada Blázquez, Victor Balsas, Agustín Gonzalo Martínez and Javier Baños, as well as municipal technicians and representatives of the board of directors of this association of neighbors.
The Local Government Board had agreed to transfer the social premises of the San Francisco neighborhood to the neighborhood association of this neighborhood for the development of non-profit activities that impact on improving the quality of life of its neighbors and on The dynamization of the neighborhood.
The proposal of the Councilor for Citizen Participation, Agustín Gonzalo Martínez, included the agreement of collaboration with this entity for the management and dynamization of it.
The City Council of Totana, through the Department of Citizen Participation, collaborates with the social fabric of the municipality with this type of actions and, in this case, with the dynamization of municipal infrastructures as spaces for participation, encounter and neighborhood activity.
In this way, a collaboration agreement has been signed with this neighborhood association to assume for a year the management of the social center, located in the Calle Minister Fernández Ordóñez, in order to develop the daily activity that has repercussions on the social development of Inhabitants of the neighborhood.
