A mass of icy air that will bring with it a collapse of the persistent temperatures and precipitations that will keep the community in alert for days by adverse meteorological phenomena, reports Civil Protection in Totana.
The State Meteorological Agency issued meteorological warnings of yellow level by snows of up to 4 centimeters thick and by low temperatures, that can reach until the 6 under zero, as well as by coastal phenomena.
In addition, the Emergency Center transferred the notices to affected municipalities, including the Consistory totanero, the Consortium for Fire Extinguishing and Rescue of the Region of Murcia and all departments of the regional administration that could be involved in intervention in matters Caused by these phenomena.

From this night and throughout the morning, mercury could fall to three or four degrees below zero in the urban centers of the municipalities of the Northwest and the Altiplano and could even reach eight degrees below zero in the Higher areas, and the -6 in areas of the Segura Valley and the Campo de Cartagena.
The minimums will not exceed 5 degrees anywhere in the Region.
The wind, said Palenzuela, will also cause the feeling of cold to be even greater.

These low temperatures will also stumble on Wednesday with persistent rainfall - on the coast of up to 40 liters per square meter and could be accompanied by hail - that could leave snow almost anywhere in the region.
In the early hours of the morning, the quota will be between 100 and 200 meters, so the flakes could even reach some points on the coast.
Throughout the day, the quota will go up to 400-600 meters.
Meteorology has activated for tomorrow an alert by accumulation of up to 4 centimeters of snow in the Field of Cartagena and Mazarrón, Northwest, Guadalentín Valley, Lorca, Eagles and Vega del Segura.
In addition, Cartagena and Mazarrón will be on alert for coastal phenomena.
This wave of cold could also bring in the next few days important frosts to the Region, mainly to the high areas of the Northwest region.
The roads of the Region are already preparing to deal with this storm: preventive treatments with brine have been carried out.
Between November 25 and January 15, 132,550 liters have been spread to prevent the formation of ice sheets.
