The Department of Culture, through the municipal library "Mateo Garcia," will launch the Youth Reading Club starting on December 20.
This first meeting will serve as a contact between the young people who have registered and the monitors, at which time the first book that the participants will have to read will be delivered.
This initiative comes with the purpose of bringing together young people 12 years and older who like to read, and who are given the opportunity to participate in an activity of reading and youth literature, where to discuss and comment on the book they have read.
This activity is totally free, and the meetings, which will comment on the book read and the following will be delivered, will be held on the third Tuesday of each month.
The selection of the proposed readings will be facilitated to the participants in the first meeting of the club.
Interested parties who want to be part of this group dynamics, must formalize the registration in the Municipal Library "Mateo Garcia", from Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 2:00 p.m., and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
