The Mayor of Totana, Juan José Canovas, recently met with officials of the Rare Disease Association "D'Genes" in order to treat institutional collaboration projects that favor the collective and their families.

Alderman held a working meeting with the president of the association, Juan Carrion, and the director of the Multidisciplinary Center "Celia Carrion Perez de Tudela," Miguel Angel Ruiz Carabías located on San Cristobal in this town, where It gives a better therapeutic to those affected by a rare disease through the portfolio of services offered by this association response.

Among the issues that have been addressed during the meeting include the assignment of a space in the industrial park "The Saladar" to use as a warehouse, including street San Cristobal in the works of the Regional Plan of Action to Increase works and Municipal Services in order to proceed to the regulations and rules on accessibility.

It has also asked the study by the Department of Public Safety and Traffic for Street San Cristobal may have restricted access and pedestrian use, and that the exemption from property tax applies to this association under the current regulations .

Representatives of "D'Genes" have also called for the collaboration of sound and institutional support in the celebration of the "Gala Inocente" next December 27 and holding an act of solidarity tasting ham in Old Town Square during Balsa December for rare diseases.
