Sixth- Primary Education participating in the III Contest "In recycling, you paint a lot" (04/11/2016)

The City Council of Totana, through the departments of Environment, Waste and Environmental Education and with the collaboration of Ecoembalajes Spain, SA, organized within the information campaign "Let's separate well, recycle better," the III Contest "In the recycling, you paint a lot, "aimed at students of 6th of Primary Education for all schools in the municipality.

The aim is to achieve greater involvement of children in the culture of recycling, fostering in students the separation of light packaging waste and waste paper and cardboard for subsequent deposit in the yellow and blue containers.

The theme focuses on the initiative of this information campaign, "Let's break it right, recycle better," which aims to encourage recycling, every time, with fewer improper waste.

Contestants must reflect clearly in their works, which in the yellow briks, cans and plastic containers and are deposited in the blue container, packaging paper and cardboard, newspapers and magazines.

In addition, they may also complement their work displayed in these, some of the benefits to the environment of our participation in the process of recycling.

As stated in the rules, any technique or plastics or artistic process, such as photography, painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, etc. used.

This number will have been awarded by the professor to each student, and the teacher will have a list with the list of students and their number of personal involvement.

For jobs that do not allow the use of cardboard for carrying out his work, the contestant must provide the corresponding teacher, said cardboard with the same information at the back attached to work.

The term that will be available to perform the work will be from November 8th to the 30th of the same month.

The work will be delivered to the tutor, or, if the teacher responsible for the competition.

Environmental educator, responsible for organizing and managing the contest, pick up the work at the center on Dec. 1;

so that once collected all the drawings, they are taken to the Department of Environment, where he will proceed to the vote by the jury of three winners.

And all participating centers will be informed of the jury's decision on December 12, three awards (2nd and 3rd MP4 batch of school supplies 1 tablet) will be awarded.

The awards ceremony will take place in a public ceremony to be held in the hall of the City Council, on 19 December at 12.00;

and the jury will be composed of various heads of the departments of Environment, Waste and Environmental Education.
