The City Council extends the collaboration agreements with the Autonomous Region for the provision of services Day Centre for Persons with Intellectual Disability and Mental Illness (03/10/2016)

The Local Government Board has recently approved to extend collaboration agreements with the Autonomous Community, through the Instituto Murciano Social Action (IMAS), for the provision of services Day Centre for Persons with Intellectual Disability and Mental Illness for it the remainder of this year and until November 2017.

The Autonomous Community has undertaken the processing of the extension of both agreements with the Consistory which allows both to maintain funding of public services for people in situations of dependency in Totana.

In both cases the agreement lasts from 1 December 2016 until 30 November 2017 to ensure the provision thereof.

In the case of the Day Centre for Persons with Intellectual Disability total cost for the 32 seats enabled, in this period, amounting to about 348,000 euros, of which 357,330 euros are financed by the IMAS, while providing users is 5%, ie about 18,000 euros.

Meanwhile, in the Day Center for Persons with Mental Illness it has 22 seats and a total cost of about 245,000 euros, fully funds the Department of Family and Equal Opportunities, through the IMAS.
