The Popular Party will propose in plenary this month a motion that requested to proceed to regulate traffic by local police at the entrances Guadalentin Paretón College during the entry and exit of children to school.

The Municipal People's Party has tabled this motion in response to the statements made by the AMPA Guadalentín School and parents of students in the College of Paretón, which have shown on several occasions the danger of the area during rush hour College entrance and exit.

During the hours indicated a high concentration of vehicles in the vicinity of the school given the location of the same on the periphery of the center of the hamlet occurs.

College is accessed from the C / Schools and C / Lomas de la Cruz and many parents who take their children to school by car.

These vehicles are parked on both sides of the aforementioned streets and taking into account that they lack sidewalks, has only sidewalk at the school entrance leads to a dangerous situation for the access of children to school, as well as pedestrians circulating in the area.

There have been several occasions that both the AMPA and parents of students have applied this measure and expressed concern them by the chaos of traffic tip and out of school children occurs during the hours .

Sometimes the police have been in the area to carry out traffic regulation at this point, but currently does not occur, so complicated moments occur in the area.

From the Popular Party and considering the safety of students Guadalentin College, we believe that the police presence in this place during the hours of entry and exit of students to the center in order to proceed with the regulation of traffic and avoid need the accumulation of vehicles in the surrounding areas thereof, and on the other hand there are parking spaces nearby, although not at the door, but we believe that premium safety of children.

We are aware that the departure time of the schools in the municipality coincides with the shift change of the police, but marked as a priority the safety of younger we must find the formula to be appropriate in the best way possible in order to avoid further damage.

These were the reasons why that the Popular Party will propose to the plenary that the measures taken are studied to be applicable to traffic regulation when the input and output of students Guadalentin College in the hamlet of Paretón and that the City Council take the necessary measures in order to proceed to safeguard students of this center, as well as the other centers where the same problem is given.
