Citizens take the difficult economic and financial situation faced by the city of Totana both the Regional Assembly and the Congress, in order to try to alleviate it and find a solution.

That is the main commitment they have reached the regional spokesman for training, Miguel Sanchez, and national deputy Jose Luis Martinez, after visiting the town and meet with its mayor, Juan José Canovas.

Citizens representatives have expressed concern about the plight of local accounts, which represented a colossal debt, interest payments alone, spending 2.8 million in 2014, 10% of the budget.

"This situation makes the residents of Totana second-class citizens, not being able to provide quality services as a result of debt carried by the council," said Sanchez.

Parliamentarians Citizens have advocated developing "municipalistas policies" at the regional level as the state administration, and have advocated a reform of local finance "once it is addressed first of the regional financing system".

Sanchez stressed that amendments to regional budgets Citizens "have had that marked municipalist character, with investments to improve infrastructure and services of the municipalities."

Sanchez and Martinez have opened a round of institutional Totana to different municipalities in the region, in order to see first hand the reality and sociopolitical problems of these visits.

In addition to meeting with the mayor, representatives of citizens have maintained an interview with the president of the Hunting Federation of the Region of Murcia and President of Afobia, an association which includes residents and owners of Sierra Espuña.

At this meeting, the issue has been addressed on aoudad populating this natural area, after the Supreme Court declared the species as "invasive".

Jose Luis Martinez committed both to bring the relevant committee of Congress that problem.
