This evening is held in the Hall of COATO, a conference on the situation of organic farming in Spain and Murcia.
Is expected to intervene, as keynote speaker, Francisco Casero Rodriguez, current president of the Savia and former Foundation, for more than two decades, the Andalusian Committee of Ecological Agriculture (today ECOVALIA), which has led and today leads the certification of more than half of organic farming in Spain, in Andalusia also concentrating more than half of the surface of organic farming in Spain, which in turn leads European organic farming.
Other speakers include the Technical Director of the Organic Farming Council of Murcia (CAERM), to be submitted to the Director General of Agricultural Funds of the Ministry of Agriculture, Carmen Garcia Frago.
Also it scheduled a panel discussion, moderated by the President of COATO, where politicians at regional level PP, PSOE, CITIZENS and WE, representatives offer their on organic farming assessment and agreement of support and promotion is held organic farming in the Region of Murcia, signed by agricultural organizations (ASAJA, COAG and UPA) and cooperative organizations (FECAMUR and FECOAM) with the Regional Government, on 10 November.
This event was held to coincide with World Environment Day on 5 June.
