The Department of Traffic and Public Safety will restrict access of pedestrians and vehicles in the vicinity of the surrounding streets and near the area of ​​the Arch of San Pedro at night on Holy Wednesday and Maundy Thursday in order to avoid the concentration of young and discomfort of noise and dirt that have been generated in recent years, with the consequent problems that originate residents.
In this way, we want to restrict the passage of pedestrians and vehicle ban that area by placing fences and relevant vertical signs that demarcate the area to avoid the concentration of youth and parking vehicles.
The municipal government has committed to the residents of the area to try to control the concentration, with the materials and human resources which can be made available, in order to minimize as much as possible disturbance to the neighbors.
During the celebration of Easter 2015, and more specifically on the nights of Wednesday and Holy Thursday coinciding with the processions, producing a large concentration of people who generated several calls to the local police of neighborhood complaints for the inconvenience of diverse nature.
