The Local Board of Public Safety approached the security and emergency device with the celebration of the major social and religious events taking place on the occasion of Holy Week this year;
and more specifically those held between 20 and 27 March coinciding with the processions.
It was chaired by the first deputy mayor, Andrés García, and attended by the Councillor for Citizen Security, Agustin Gonzalo Martinez, and representatives of the Government Delegation in Murcia, Guardia Civil, Local Police and Civil Protection.
Attendees reviewed the troops of the Forces Security and Emergency to be present in each of the main events in order to cut roads and ensure the safety of pedestrians.
The Civil Guard strengthen the service needs of the local police during these days of greater concurrence of people and vehicles in the streets and public spaces.
