Unemployed in active job search Totana access training activities auxiliary agriculture (01/03/2016)

Fifteen people unemployed in the municipality of Totana are developing in the local office of San Roque, a policy aimed at improving employability training.

They are specifically developing a course of Auxiliary Activities of Agriculture in which 15 people whose career goals are focused on this area involved.

This training began on February 15, lasting 48 hours, lasts until March 3 and aims to meet the major crops, economic engine of Levante Spanish and fundamentally Murcia and Almeria, and know the processes production used more and learn the techniques of manipulation of the food industry, traceability programs and methods most common graft within this learning on Thursday February 25 facilities Agricultural Society Primaflor visited in Almeria, company wholesale fruit and vegetable products dominating its industry for its commitment to innovation in its sector and pioneer in improving production processes.

This training is part of the training activities developed by the "WORK: A step towards employability" project, a project that is working in Totana since November 2007, in collaboration with the City of Totana and financed 20% by the Murciano Institute of Social Action and 80% by the European Social Fund.

These actions are intended to provide the unemployed with the necessary means to obtain and develop knowledge, skills and qualifications to facilitate personal development, employability and participation in the labor market as well as the opportunity to acquire skills and social skills that enable them practical tools search employment, plus personalized advice and support.

Through this project it is to inform, educate and guide unemployed people on issues related to the workplace.

It is an initiative of socio-labor character, which is intended to facilitate the employment of those who are interested in actively participating in changing their unemployment.

The project, which has two social professionals, develops its activities in three main areas: social care, training and employment survey for the specific purpose of improving the employability of participants.
