More than 250 children in kindergarten and primary benefit of the Program for reconciling work and family life " (23/06/2010)

The Councillor for Education, Trini Cayuela, has reported that approximately 250 children have benefited in different schools and Primary schools and the various children of the municipality, the "Program Reconciling Work and Family Life" .

This free program settlement, which was launched last October together from the Department of Education and Development and Employment, has been completed.

Currently, this program, sponsored by the Regional Employment Service and Training, is being carried out in kindergartens and nursery schools and Primary school in morning and afternoon.

As explained the mayor of Education, this service has been focused on all families with school-age children who had difficulties in reconciling work and family life, whether by the issue of timetables or shortage of such resources in the area.

As a result, according to the mayor, "the levels of truancy in the town continue to rise, and the implementation of this project has attempted to prevent children, because the working hours of their parents , being left alone at home and not come on time to class or not attend. "

Moreover, as he added, has greatly facilitated access to employment for many women who do not have the necessary support from the extended family.

This project has attempted to facilitate reconciliation of work and family life, zoom in and provide meaningful experiences to children through recreational and educational processes, share personal experiences leading to common experiences of children and encourage interaction within the environment , among other issues.

The main activities included in the project and have been taking place over the months have been among other educational support activities, film screenings, workshops and crafts, storytelling, outdoor activities, and cooperative games collaboration, games of skill, precision games, team games, magic games, board games, drawings, paintings, among others.

The reconciliation program has been taught in various schools in the town of Totana mornings from 7:30 to 9:00 am and afternoons from 16:00 to 18:00, five days a week.

On the other hand, stressed Cayuela Trini project acceptance by schools that have embraced it, as well as by the families of the children, leading to the creation of a waiting list to fill any low in certain schools.

However, the Councillor for Education thanked the schools, parents, families, children, monitors and other personnel involved in this program work and collaboration to carry out this project in a satisfactory and pleasant for everyone.
