The councilman of Deportes, José Antonio Valverde Queen, presented the Paddle Tournament II "Feast of Santiago de Totana", to be held on 3 and July 10 in the paddle of the Ciudad Deportiva "Espuña."
This event, organized for the second time in the municipality by the Department of Sports on the occasion of the fiestas in honor of Santiago, will begin Saturday July 3 and will be held at senior male and female, which may only participate people over 16 years, in pairs.
Last year, as reported by the mayor, held the first edition of this tournament because of the construction of the paddle at the end of June 2009, and had a total of 16 participating couples.
In each category must be a minimum of 8 couples and a maximum of 32, and if you did not get cover at least one of the categories, the mayor explained that all couples would be grouped into one.
The competition system and rules are established depending on the number of teams registered.
The inscriptions, which have a share of 10 euros, can be made until Wednesday June 30 at the Municipal Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibáñez" and in morning and evening until 19:00.
The awards will be equipped with a trophy and 180 euros for the tournament champion, 150 euros and a trophy for the runner, and the semifinalists will receive a trophy and 100 euros.
