The Youth Council of the City of Totana together with the Youth Council of the towns of Lorca, Puerto Lumbreras, Mazarron, Alhama de Murcia and Aledo, comprising the "Area 36" have organized a day of adventure with the descent of the Segura River, which will take place this Saturday 19 June.
Through this activity, part of the Program Summer Youth 2010 ", organized by the Department of Youth, the young participants aged over 18 made the stretch of river from Cieza to White, a distance of 12.5 kilometers, in a approximately three hours.
During the tour, stop by dams, rapids, protected areas for birds and used recreational raft and kayak, stopping halfway for lunch.
The registration fee is 20 euros and the price includes travel, activities, necessary equipment, lunch halfway through and liability insurance.
