| After the request made by the councilman last Friday to address the outbreak registered in this municipality | The president of the Autonomous Community, Fernando López Miras, will receive tomorrow the mayor of Totana, Juan José Cánovas, at 10:00 in the Palacio de San Esteban, after the request made to the head of the regional Executive by the first mayor last year Friday to address the situation of the municipality due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.The mayor thanked the autonomous president for his gesture and recalled the institutional loyalty maintained by the City Council with the different Public Administrations throughout this crisis.Juan José Cánovas has stressed that this meeting request has the objective of proposing the establishment of aid by the regional government for the sectors most affected by this crisis, hospitality and commerce.Finally, the mayor has shown his satisfaction with the positive epidemiological evolution of the last days in the municipality of Totana; and it has appealed to the public to maintain the containment measures in order to reach a scenario that allows phase 1 to be relaxed this week.The municipality of Totana has registered this last weekend very encouraging data regarding the positive figures for the existing outbreaks in recent weeks, after almost two weeks in relaxed phase 1. According to the data provided by the Ministry of Health to the City of Totana, the contagions accounted for have been 7 (Friday), 6 (Saturday) and 4 (Sunday), compared to the last 24 hours of the previous day. Thus, the Totana focus does not register such significant increases, with a total incidence of 167 cases.This is the way to fight the virus and curb the spread of contagions of this pandemic, as the mayor has specified.
