The municipal park "Marcos Ortiz" hosts on June 7 the 6th Solidarity Parade of Lingerie and Bath for the benefit of Afacmur (31/05/2019)

The auditorium of the municipal park "Marcos Ortiz" of Totana will host next June 7, for the sixth consecutive year, a Solidarity Parade of Lingerie and Bath for the benefit of the Association of Relatives of Children with Cancer of the Region of Murcia (Afacmur), which has the collaboration of the City of Totana.

The price of the tickets of the event, which will take place at 22:00, is three euros and attendees can see the collection of lingerie and swimwear for this summer 2019, with the most prestigious national and international brands, which can be find in the market.

The Councilor for Culture, Eulalia Moreno, accompanied by the representative of Afacmur, Rita Munuera, and Isabel Martinez, responsible for the commercial establishment that will show the garments, presented this action in solidarity, and which will have the collaboration of several township facilities.

In addition to thanking the sponsors and collaborators of the parade for their support, they encouraged the neighbors to attend and to support a good cause with their presence.

This edition has the collaboration of Ana Garro Imagen & Belleza, Riquelme Floristas, step by step dance schools and Chary Ruiz and Isabel Martínez Lingerie.

They reiterated that the price of tickets amounts to three euros, and can be purchased through the partners of Afacmur in the municipality, in addition to the trade Isabel Martínez Lingerie, in the City Council itself or on the day of the parade at the box office.

Likewise, the organization announces that a zero line has been foreseen for all those people who want to collaborate and solidarity bracelets will be put on sale in the same way.

The evening will also include the performance of Toni Blaya, singer of "La Mundial", who accompanies this action for the fifth year.

Afacmur was founded in 1995 after the experience of parents who had children suffering from cancer and discovered that they had needs and wanted to join forces to face this social and family reality.

The first action they promoted was the creation of the Children's Oncohematology Unit at the Arrixaca University Hospital.

The mission of this association is to improve the quality of life of children and adolescents who are cancer patients and their families through care, accompaniment and psychosocial, educational and leisure social support, among other sociosanitary objectives.

In addition, the project for the extension of home hospital care for pediatric palliative care has been provided since 2013.
