The Local Government Board has authorized the expenditure derived from the participation of minors proposed by the Social Services Center for free time activities and family conciliation in 2019 within the limits of the available credit of 4,000 euros.
The professionals of the Social Services Center have detected in their daily work numerous situations of minors at risk and unprotected in the family, arising from difficulties of their legal responsible for the exercise of their parental functions.
These range from shortage of skills, inability to schedule and family reconciliation, negligence, violence between adults, to aggressive attitudes towards children themselves, some with very serious character that results in their withdrawal from the family.
Among these work processes are the channeling of children to leisure time activities with the aim that they can have other adult models of reference, make an educative use of their free time and can support the family nucleus in the face of the overload carried by the children. adults for their living imbalances.
The activities contemplated in the proposal are varied, such as summer schools, as well as those carried out in other holiday periods, sports activities, musicals, cooking workshops, photography or school reinforcement.
