The Department of Equality of the City of Totana convened a silent rally, with the collaboration of associations of women and housewives of the municipality, which took place today in the Plaza Balsa Vieja, as an act of condemnation and rejection for the murder of Laura Luelmo in El Campillo (Huelva).
The symbolic act consisted in a simple concentration in which five minutes of silence were kept;
and was assisted by municipal representatives and neighborhood groups and associations of the municipality.
This initiative organized by the Department is to respond to the request promoted in social networks by residents of Totana to staging the rejection of citizens totanera to this unfortunate event and last case of sexist violence.
