The Councilor for Education of the City of Totana, Eulalia Moreno, participates in the II Congress of Education in Active Democracy, which is held from October 25 to 27 in Jaraba (Zaragoza), making known the experiences of the Children's Plenary and other educational programs Municipalities developed by their department during this term.
The Congress is a place of meeting and debate that enables tools for the government teams of the municipalities to become politically aware to pay special attention to children and adolescents in their cities, and consolidate the actions of local corporations as guarantors of rights. del Niño.El fundamental objective of this II Congress of Education in Active Democracy to be held in Jaraba is to promote the quality of life of all citizens, through training processes in democracy, for which the municipal policies of an educational nature should be understood always in a broader context, where the principles of social justice, democratic citizenship and the promotion of people take precedence over any other economic and social criterion.
During the same democratic models of participation will be presented, the contribution of different techniques and models that are being made in the autonomous community of Aragon and in the Spanish territory, revealing different participation processes in this area.
The Congress is aimed at municipal councilors of Children and Adolescents, and boys and girls who have been elected, through democratic processes, to represent children and adolescents in Children's Plenary Councils.
In addition, elected representatives of City Councils and other Public Administrations, as well as mayors of the province of Zaragoza or councilors of Citizen Participation, Education, Democratic Culture and the like will meet.
Likewise, teachers, formal and non-formal educators will participate;
municipal technicians, members of citizen organizations and youth entities;
and fathers and mothers, research families, students and every citizen interested in education in active democracy.
