The Ministry of Finance and Public Administration and the City of Totana will execute the coverage of the sports track of the CEIP "San José" and the rehabilitation of the Theater of the Sociocultural Center "La Cárcel" of Totana within the Works and Services Plan (POS) for annuities for the years 2018/2019, since they were the projects most supported by the neighbors in the telematic public consultation held last March and April.
Thus, in the two annuities indicated, works will be undertaken to cover the sports track of the CEIP "San José" (232,320 euros), and the rehabilitation of the "Ginés Rosa" Theater of the Sociocultural Center "La Cárcel" (240,000 euros) ).
The total budget for both annuities amounts to almost 460,000 euros, of which 430,000 euros are financed by the Autonomous Community, under a grant of 215,000 euros in 2018 and another for the same amount in 2019;
and the remaining 22,500 euros are contributed by the Totanero Consistory.
The Works and Services Plan 2018/2019 has a multi-year nature, covering the expenditure commitment of the Autonomous Community for the amount corresponding to the two annuities, which will allow the possibility of reuse of the remainders that are generated.
In the edition of the year 2017, in which the neighbors chose the construction of the San José neighborhood park (budget of 93,000 euros), a total of 817 people participated, while in the latter process they participated in the online voting 443 people.
